NOW REFUND Loan
The NOW ADVANCE product, offered by River City Bank, Member FBIC, is a no-fee, no interest (0% APR), and non-recourse advance based on your tax refund.
The NOW is not credit-based. NOW advance can be requested up to $9,500.
The amount available to each taxpayer will depend on their expected federal refund less authorized fees. If approved for a NOW ADVANCE, a finance charge in the amount of $50 will apply along with applicable filing and bank product fees. NOW ADVANCE is subject to approval. NOW ADVANCES are typically available within 24-48 hours.
Your NOW advance can be provided to you via ACH or printed check. Please note, if you select to receive your loan through direct deposit it may take some additional time for your financial institution to post the funds into your account.
Benefits of a NOW REFUND
- NClients who are approved for NOW have the ability to pick up an advance on their refund via a check at the tax filing office prior to the disbursement of their refund by the IRS.
- NNo fee, no interest, and non-recourse advance for the customer.
- NSpeed in receiving a Federal RT, typically within 21 days rather than waiting for a check from the IRS that could take four to six weeks if a paper return was filed or three weeks if you filed electronically and selected to have a paper check mailed.
What is the NOW ADVANCE?
The NOW ADVANCE is an interest-free, fee-free and 0 recourse advance provided to qualifying taxpayers who have a refund due to them from the IRS. Taxpayers can choose to apply for a NOW ADVANCE when they elect to use a bank product to receive their refund and pay for their tax preparation. The NOW ADVANCE product, offered by River City Bank, Member FBIC.
How long does it take to be approved for the NOW ADVANCE?
It takes roughly 24 hours to be approved for the NOW ADVANCE. Depending on your choice of how you would like to receive your funds, it could take up to 3 additional days for funds to be transferred to your bank via direct deposit.
When is the NOW ADVANCE available?
The NOW ADVANCE is available starting January 2nd.
